ਮੇਰਾ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਣਾ 

My visit to the market

ਮੈਂ ਕੱਲ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ |

ਮੈਂ ਕੱਲ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਗਈ ਸੀ  |

I went to the market yesterday.

ਮੈਂ ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ |

ਮੈਂ ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ |

I go to the market once a week.

(ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ: once a week

ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ: twice a week

ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ: thrice a week

ਹਫਤੇ ਵਿਚ ਚਾਰ ਵਾਰ: four times a week)

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ |

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ |

When I was going to the market, it started raining.

ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਛਤਰੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਈ ਸੀ |

ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਛਤਰੀ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਆਇਆ ਸੀ |

Fortunately, I had brought an umbrella with me.

ਮੈਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ |

ਮੈਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ |

I walked carefully.

ਮੈਂ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬ੍ਰੈਡ, ਮੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਦੁੱਧ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ |

I bought bread, butter, and milk from the shop in the market.

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਇਆ, ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਰੁੱਕ ਚੁਕੀ ਸੀ |

ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਈ, ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਰੁੱਕ ਚੁਕੀ ਸੀ |

It had stopped raining when I came out of the shop.
